Patty, coming from an Irish-American tradition of folk music, is vocally and musically a little "Roots"....a little "Gypsy"....a little "Protest". She believes that music is powerful medicine. Her previous album "Mystic Dreams" was released in 2006.
The songs she selected to sing on her album "A Strange Sort of Comfort" are all songs that nudge us to remember how very fragile life is and to appreciate it more. In these songs we see some of the ways we all come to experience love, loss, hope and acceptance
